Board Meetings will be held on the second Monday of every month. Board meetings will be held @ Round Table Pizza, located @ 2819 W. March Lane.

Umpire Programs
Western Region Umpire School
So far there are three (4) umpires from District 8 leagues who will be attending the week long umpire schools.
Terry Shackelford and Jim Burwell of Hoover Tyler LL, Anthony Moore of Delta LL and Terry Hemphill Sr., of Sunset Little League will all be attending in San Bernardino, California. Our District UIC and Regional Staff Instructor, Jeff Frese, will be instructing at the week long school (Week 1 Feb 11 - 17, 2012).
If you are interested in attending Regional training schools/clinics, please contact your league President or Jeff Frese. The region umpire training program offers both week long schools and weekend clinics (UIC, Rules and Mechanics courses). Regional Umpire Courses - click here
Local District 8 Clinics
Rules Clinic
A one day clinic to learn the rules and rule interpretations. The date has not been set yet, but this could be either a one day 8 hour session or over two days - 4 hours each.
Outreach Adult Umpire Clinic - Hosted by District 8 & 15
Tentatively scheduled at Linden for March 2 - 4, 2012
This clinic is for 2-man mechanics for the small (60 ft) field. This clinic is open to all adult umpires ages 18 and older.
Outreach Junior Umpire Clinic - Hosted by District 8 & 15
Tentatively schedule at Linden Elementary School for March 9 - 11, 2012
This clinic is for 2-man mechanics for the small (60 ft) field. This clinic is open to Junior umpires ages 13 - 17. Adult fathers/mothers or adult father/mother figures desiring to attend with their sons or daughters - are welcome to attend this clinic.
